The Culture of The Heart Schools Resource (for children aged 5-11). You will receive the first year's material, giving you a full academic year of Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) lesson plans with access to a rolling curiculum at a minimal subscription price. The material has been developed over 7 years and has been successfully trialled in UK Primary Schools, and a number of Independent and Home Schools. There is an aplication process and pricing is per child and size of school.
The aim of the resource is to encourage healthy relational connection within the classroom, beginning with a child's own self-worth. The initial trials evidenced a significant shift in the culture of many classrooms and individual pupils – developing stronger relationships, emotional intelligence and building self-esteem.
Culture of the Heart Schools Resource.
The resource is structured around twelve relational 'cultures'. The first year's content runs across the whole school using the first seven 'cultures'. The whole-school approach aims to deliver a healthy cultural ethos across all year groups, building a strong foundation for the next 5 'cultures' that focus on relational & personal learning.
Each of the first seven cultures is designed to allow children to explore the building blocks of healthy self-worth and the value of community. The material contains clearly written lesson plans, supported by digital resources and downloads allowing teaching staff to adapt and deliver the material in and around their existing curriculums. Every lesson is underpinned by both practical guidance on the delivery itself and psychological research that grounds the learning in scientifically proven principles.
