The Culture of the Heart Emotion Cards

Emotions are important messengers.

They are not always wise captains.

Our emotions are not always great leaders, but they do need to be listened to and understood, so we can respond with authenticity and be able to align with helpful values that build connection rather than disconnection.

The Culture of the Heart Emotion Cards are a practical and meaningful tool that give language for emotions, particularly when the body is in the fight or flight reaction and the thinking part of the brain is slightly 'off-line. The cards support that thinking part of our brains back on-line and the tool help us to recognise the deeper need that our emotions maybe reacting to. The Anchor cards support, offering healthy values so we can communicate well and respond rather than react with values that build healthy connection

Each set includes:

  • Over 100 individually illustrated Emotion Cards, each with clear definitions and synonyms to build emotional vocabulary

  • Navigation Cards to help you identify and understand underlying needs

  • Anchor Cards to support healthy, relational values
